Shorinjiryu Australia Yudansha Wall of Honour

The following individuals have earned yudansha (black belt) rankings as issued and ratified by the Australian Shorinjiryu Karatedo Association Inc, but are no longer active members. In addition, certain grades have been ratified internationally:

  • All rankings issued after 28 March 2011 have been issued under the school of Shorinjiryu Koshinkai Karatedo.
  • Since 2000, certain rankings have been recognised and endorsed by the Shorinjiryu Shinzen Kyokai, where the individual has requested international recognition.
  • From 2008 to 2010, all rankings were authorised by Hanshi Shunji Watanabe and the Shorinjiryu Kenyukai Watanabe Ha World Federation
  • From 1977-1994, these rankings were authorised by So Shihan Masayuki Kukan Hisataka, Hanshi 9th Dan and the Shorinjiryu Kenkokan Karatedo So Hombu Dojo in Tokyo, Japan
